We welcome any offers of help from local and national businesses. Whether you want to donate products, services, food, or simply make a cash contribution – any help will be received with gratitude.
The Spalding COVID Kindness Team is a non-profit organisation ran by a group of volunteers. Zero profit is made from volunteers or donations. We have been operating for less than a month hence we are not a registered charity at the moment, nor are registered for GiftAid with HMRC.
Any cash left over, once the crisis is over, will be donated to local charities that will remain open and supporting local residents.
We can offer social media PR in return for your help. Our Facebook Page is very active and highly engaged, with most posts reaching 2.5-3K local residents and some posts reaching over 18K residents. Our committee is often featured in local media and radio.
For money donations we now have a bank account so can accept money transfers or cheques. Please contact Barbara, our financial manager, to arrange this. Remember – each £15 you can donate will support a week’s supply of essential products for a vulnerable, isolating local resident!
